STATE SENATOR CAREY BAKER ENDORSES MARLENE O’TOOLE FOR STATE
REPRESENTATIVE The O’Toole Campaign adds several more key local endorsements to her political team!
The Villages – This week, Marlene O’Toole, Republican candidate
for House District 42, received the endorsement of State Senator Carey Baker and three
other key local leaders.
“Marlene has demonstrated tremendous leadership with Take Stock in Children here in
Lake and Sumter Counties, and her executive business experience with IBM makes her the
best qualified candidate for House District 42,” said State Senator Carey Baker. “A
hard-working, honest person with solid conservative principles, Marlene has shown that
she can get things done, and I believe she will be a very effective legislator.”
Senator Baker’s endorsement was joined by three other key endorsements including the
following:
• Stan McClain, Marion County Commissioner
• Randy Mask, Sumter County Commissioner
• Scott Strong, Member of Lake County School Board
“Marlene O’Toole is the clear choice, hands down for this job,” said Scott Strong.
“She has the right experience and the right motivation with a proven track record for
success.”
These endorsements now add to a list of 15 local elected officials including State
Representative Hugh Gibson and the entire Sumter County Commission.
