The Villages — Tonight, the Leadership Lake County
Alumni Association hosted the 2008 Primary Hob Nob at the Lake-Sumter Community
College gymnasium. The O’Toole team scored a resounding victory. The Hob Nob featured
a straw poll of the event participants and O’Toole came out on top by 23 points 61% to
38%.
“This resounding victory is a tribute to our hard-working volunteers and our
conservative message about lowering gas prices, ending illegal immigration, and
defending our family values,” said Marlene O’Toole. “We are going to continue to work
hard to reach every voter over the next 12 days.”
The O’Toole Campaign has amassed over 60 endorsements including the Florida Chamber of
Commerce, the Florida Retail Federation, and Lake County Tax Collector Bob McKee. The
Campaign has targeted over 7,000 homes in precinct walks spanning the entire summer.
